Who Should Not Take Visken?

You should not take Visken if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Visken, pindolol, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.

 

 

  • Have second- or third-degree heart block (a problem with electrical signal conduction in the heart).

 

  • Have a very slow heart rate (bradycardia).

 

  • Have cardiogenic shock (an emergency heart problem).
     

Visken Warnings and Precautions: Final Thoughts

There are a number of situations in which Visken should not be taken, along with several warnings people should be aware of before starting the medication. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings or precautions with Visken were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about the specific ones that may apply to you.
