Univasc Drug

Univasc® (
 moexipril hydrochloride) is a drug used to control high blood pressure (known medically as hypertension) in adults. It comes in the following strengths:
 
  • Univasc 7.5 mg
  • Univasc 15 mg.

Before starting this medication, talk to your healthcare provider to make sure it is appropriate for you. In particular, make sure your healthcare provider is aware if you have any of the following conditions:
 
Univasc is taken once or twice a day, and it comes in the form of a tablet. It should be taken on an empty stomach, about an hour before a meal.
