Who Should Not Take Torsemide?

You should not take torsemide if:
 
  • You are allergic to Demadex, torsemide, or any of the inactive components used to make torsemide. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of inactive ingredients.
     
  • You are allergic to sulfonamides ("sulfa" drugs).
     
  • You are not producing any urine (anuria).
