The recommended starting dose of

eprosartan mesylate) for people just starting
blood pressure treatment is typically 600 mg taken once a day. Your healthcare provider may adjust your dosage as necessary, until your blood pressure is adequately controlled. However, your specific amount will depend on several factors, such as your blood pressure and other medical conditions you may have.
The typical recommended dosing range is between 400 mg and 800 mg total per day. Teveten is normally given once a day in the beginning of treatment. If your blood pressure is not adequately controlled throughout the course of a day, the medication may be given twice daily.
