Tekturna and Breastfeeding
Although no human studies have been done on Tekturna (aliskiren) and breastfeeding, the drug does pass through breast milk in rats. This is a good indication that Tekturna may also pass through breast milk in humans. However, it is unknown whether this could cause problems in a nursing infant. If you are taking Tekturna and breastfeeding at the same time, talk with your healthcare provider.
