If you are taking Tarka and a potassium-sparing diuretic, your blood pressure may decrease too much and/or the levels of potassium in your blood may become too high. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress closely.
 
Theophylline
If you are taking Tarka and theophylline together, your body may metabolize theophylline differently than intended. This can cause an increased level of theophylline in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your theophylline dose as needed.
 
Rifampin
If you are taking Tarka and rifampin together, your body may metabolize Tarka differently than intended. This can cause a decreased level of Tarka in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your Tarka dose if needed.
