Sular for High Blood Pressure

Serious Side Effects to Report

There are a number of more serious side effects with Sular that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:

Chest pain
Irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
Heart attack or stroke
Signs of very low blood pressure, such as dizziness or lightheadedness, especially when accompanied by fainting
Diabetes
Severe swelling, water retention, or difficulty breathing, which may be signs of heart failure
Depression (see Sular and Depression)
Signs of an allergic reaction, including:

Unexplained rash
Hives
Itching
Unexplained swelling
Wheezing

Difficulty breathing or swallowing.

Rare Sular Side Effects

Rare Sular side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people. Because these reactions are so uncommon, it is difficult to tell whether they are actually caused by the medicine or something else.

Some of these rare but possible side effects of Sular include but are not limited to:

Chills
Facial swelling
Diarrhea
Dry mouth (see Sular and Dry Mouth)
Gout
Arthritis
Insomnia
Decreased sex drive (libido)
Vertigo (a spinning sensation)
Taste changes
Impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction or ED (see Sular and Impotence)
Frequent urination
Weight gain or weight loss.
