Warnings and Precautions With Quinaretic

Some warnings and precautions to be aware of with Quinaretic involve potentially serious side effects of the medication that may occur, such as swelling of the head, neck, or intestines. Other warnings and precautions with Quinaretic have to do with taking the medication while pregnant or nursing -- the drug may affect the developing fetus and it passes through breast milk.

  • Are pregnant or trying to become pregnant (see Accuretic and Pregnancy)
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Are on dialysis
  • Drink alcohol regularly
  • Will be undergoing surgery or anesthesia.
     
Tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you may be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
