Norvasc Interactions
There is a risk of developing drug interactions when you take two or more medicines together. For example, there are currently several drugs that may interact with Norvasc® (amlodipine besylate). These medications include:
- Rifampin
- Isoniazid
- Ritonavir
- Nafcillin
- St. John's wort.
In some cases, drug interactions with Norvasc can increase your risk of side effects. In other cases, the reactions can make Norvasc less effective. To help ensure a safe and effective treatment process, talk to your healthcare provider about your current medications before taking Norvasc.
