Common Norvasc Adverse Side Effects
Some of the more common
Norvasc
adverse side effects include:
Swelling
Nausea
Back pain
Difficulty swallowing
Excessive sleepiness
Headache

Of these common side effects, swelling and
headache
are the most common.
Rare Norvasc Adverse Side Effects
In some cases, patients may also experience more serious, but rare, side effects.
These rare Norvasc adverse side effects occur in less than 1 percent of patients and may include:
Irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
Extremely low
blood pressure
Nose bleeds
Fainting (syncope)
Numbness of the toes and/or fingers (peripheral neuropathy)
Inflammation of the
pancreas
