Some people also experience more serious, but rare, side effects that may include:
 
  • Slow heart rate (bradycardia)
  • Extremely low blood pressure
  • Fainting (syncope)
  • Numbness of the toes or fingers (peripheral neuropathy)
  • Insomnia
  • Diarrhea
  • Thirst.
