Monopril-HCT Side Effects to Report

There are a number of side effects with Monopril-HCT that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider. These include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Unexplained swelling of the head or neck (including the face, lips, tongue, or throat)
  • Unexplained swelling of the hands and/or feet
  • Unexplained skin rash
  • Itching
  • Unexplained blisters or peeling of the skin
  • Wheezing
  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting spells
  • Stomach pain with or without vomiting
  • Any symptoms (such as a fever or sore throat) that might suggest an infection
  • Yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes
  • A decrease in the amount of urine produced
  • Dry mouth
  • Increased thirst
  • Weakness
  • Tiredness
  • Restlessness
  • Seizures
  • Confusion
  • Muscle pain or cramps
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Weak or irregular heartbeat.
     

Rare Monopril-HCT Side Effects

There are other Monopril-HCT side effects that can occur. These rare side effects happen in less than 2 percent of people. Given how rarely they occur, it can be difficult to tell whether these side effects are caused by the medication or something else.
