When certain medications are taken with Zestoretic, drug interactions may occur. Some of these drug interactions with Zestoretic may occur when the medication is taken with ibuprofen, codeine, lithium, or muscle relaxants. Drug interactions involving Zestoretic and other medications may result in high blood sugar levels, extremely low blood pressure, decreased effectiveness of the medicines, or other problems.

Zestoretic Drug Interactions: An Overview

Zestoretic® (lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazide) potentially has a number of other medicines with which it may interact. Some of these Zestoretic interactions can involve:

    • Butabarbital (Butisol Sodium®)
    • Phenobarbital (Luminal®)
    • Primidone (Mysoline®)
    • Pentobarbital (Nembutal®)
    • Thiopental (Pentothal®)
