Blood Pressure Home > Tribenzor Uses

Can Older Adults Use It?

In clinical studies, Tribenzor side effects and blood pressure-lowering effects were similar in older and younger adults. However, Tribenzor may not be appropriate in people 75 years of age or older who have never taken amlodipine, one of the components of the medicine. People in this age group should be started on a lower dose of amlodipine than is available with Tribenzor.

Off-Label Uses for Tribenzor

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Tribenzor for something other than the officially approved uses. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, there are no universally accepted off-label uses for Tribenzor.
