Several drugs can cause negative interactions with Tribenzor, including lithium, calcium channel blockers, and other blood pressure medications. Some of these reactions can alter the amount of the medications in the blood, possibly making them less effective or increasing your risk for side effects. Before starting treatment with Tribenzor, inform your healthcare provider of any other medications, herbs, or supplements you are taking.

An Overview of Interactions With Tribenzor

Tribenzor™ (olmesartan medoxomil/amlodipine/hydrochlorothiazide) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of the medicines that may lead to drug interactions with Tribenzor include but are not limited to:
 
 
  • Alcohol
  • Angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), such as:

 

 
  • Barbiturates, such as:
     
    • Amobarbital (Amytal®)
    • Butalbital (Fioricet®, Fiorinal®)
    • Pentobarbital (Nembutal®)
    • Phenobarbital (Luminal®)
    • Secobarbital (Seconal®)
 
 
 
  • Colesevelam (WelChol®
  • Corticosteroids, such as:
     
    • Betamethasone (Celestone®)
    • Cortisone
    • Dexamethasone (Decadron®)
    • Fludrocortisone (Florinef®)
    • Hydrocortisone (Cortef®)
    • Methylprednisolone (Depo-Medrol®, Medrol®)
    • Prednisolone (Orapred®, Pediapred®)
    • Prednisone
    • Triamcinolone (Kenalog®, Aristospan®)
 
 
  • Neuromuscular-blocking medications, such as:
     
    • Atracurium
    • Cisatracurium (Nimbex®)
    • Pancuronium
    • Rocuronium (Zemuron®)
    • Vecuronium (Norcuron®)
 
  
  • Other blood pressure medications
  • Potassium-containing products, such as:
     
    • Potassium chloride (K-Dur®, Klor-Con®, Micro-K®)
    • Potassium citrate (Urocit-K®, Polycitra-K®)
    • Potassium gluconate
    • Potassium phosphate (Neutra-Phos-K®, K-Phos®)
    • Salt substitutes (used to flavor food)
