Blood Pressure Home > Norvasc 10 mg

Norvasc® is manufactured by Pfizer, Inc. and is available in three strengths: Norvasc 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg.

For those taking Norvasc to treat high blood pressure, most healthcare providers will suggest a starting dosage of Norvasc 5 mg. If your blood pressure goals have not been reached within two weeks, however, your healthcare provider may recommend increasing the dosage to Norvasc 10 mg.

People being treated for chronic stable angina, vasospastic angina, or coronary artery disease generally take Norvasc 5 mg or Norvasc 10 mg once daily. Most people will benefit more from Norvasc 10 mg once daily, but should still start with a lower dosage.

Norvasc 10 mg is not recommended for use in children who being treated for high blood pressure.
