Lotensin Precautions and Warnings

Who Should Not Take Lotensin?

You should not take Lotensin if:
 
  • You are allergic to Lotensin, benazepril, or any inactive component used to make Lotensin. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of inactive ingredients.
     
  • You have a history of angioedema, even if unrelated to previous ACE inhibitor treatment. 

 

  • You have hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
