Lotensin: When and How Do I Take It?

Some general considerations for when and how to take Lotensin include:

  • Lotensin comes in tablet form. It is usually taken once or twice a day.

  • It does not matter if you take Lotensin with or without food.

  • Do not break, chew, or crush the Lotensin tablets.

  • Lotensin should be taken at the same time each day to maintain an even level of Lotensin in your blood.

  • If you have difficulty taking the tablet, talk to your pharmacist or healthcare provider about a different form of Lotensin.

  • For Lotensin to work properly, you have to take it as prescribed. Lotensin will not work if you stop taking it.
