Lopressor Interactions (Cont.)

 
Propafenone (Rythmol)
If you are taking Lopressor and propafenone together, your body may metabolize propafenone differently than intended. This can cause an increased level of propafenone in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your propafenone dose if needed.
 
Ritonavir (Norvir)
If you are taking Lopressor and ritonavir together, your body may metabolize Lopressor differently than intended. This can cause an increased level of Lopressor in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your Lopressor dose if needed.
 
Diphenhydramine (Banophen, Benadryl)
If you are taking Lopressor and diphenhydramine together, your body may metabolize Lopressor differently than intended. This can increase the level of Lopressor in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your Lopressor dose if needed.
 
Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil)
If you are taking Lopressor and hydroxychloroquine together, your body may metabolize Lopressor differently than intended. This can cause an increased level of Lopressor in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your Lopressor dose if needed.
 
Terbinafine (Lamisil)
If you are taking Lopressor and terbinafine together, your body may metabolize Lopressor differently than intended. This can cause an increased level of Lopressor in your body. If you are using these medicines together, your healthcare provider may choose to monitor you more closely and/or adjust your Lopressor dose if needed.
