What If I Take an Overdose of Isradipine?

People who take too much isradipine may have overdose symptoms that could include:
 
  • Lethargy
  • Fast heart rate (tachycardia)
  • Low blood pressure (hypotension).
     
If you happen to overdose on isradipine, seek immediate medical attention.

How Should Isradipine Be Stored?

Isradipine should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The capsules should be stored in an airtight container.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Isradipine?

If you do not take your isradipine as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Who Makes Isradipine?

Brand-name isradipine was made by Reliant Pharmaceuticals, although it is no longer being manufactured. Generic isradipine is still available and is made by Abrika Pharmaceuticals and Actavis.
 

Strengths of Isradipine

Although brand-name isradipine capsules are no longer available, generic isradipine capsules are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Isradipine 2.5 mg capsules
  • Isradipine 5 mg capsules.
