Who Should Not Take Inderal?

You should not take Inderal if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Inderal, propranolol hydrochloride, or any inactive component used to make Inderal. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have asthma.
     
  • Have a slow heartbeat (less than 45 beats per minute).
     
  • Have certain types of irregular heart rhythms (specifically second or third degree heart block).
     
  • Have cardiogenic shock (a state in which the heart cannot pump the blood adequately to meet the body's needs).
     

Inderal Precautions and Warnings: A Summary

There are a number of situations in which Inderal should not be taken, as well as several Inderal precautions and warnings that people should be aware of. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings or precautions were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about any that may apply to you.
