You should not take
Inderal if you:
- Are allergic to Inderal, propranolol hydrochloride, or any inactive component used to make Inderal. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of inactive ingredients.
- Have asthma.
- Have a slow heartbeat (less than 45 beats per minute).
- Have certain types of irregular heart rhythms (specifically second or third degree heart block).
- Have cardiogenic shock (a state in which the heart cannot pump the blood adequately to meet the body's needs).
