Dynacirc CR Drug Interactions

If certain medications are taken with Dynacirc CR, drug interactions could occur. These interactions can increase your risk of developing side effects or reduce the effectiveness of Dynacirc CR. Some of the medications that may cause Dynacirc CR drug interactions include cimetidine, nefazodone, protease inhibitors, and certain antibiotics or antifungals. To prevent them, your healthcare provider may adjust your dosages.

 

An Overview of Dynacirc CR Drug Interactions

 Dynacirc CR® (isradipine CR) can potentially interact with a number of other medicines. Some of the medicines that may lead to Dynacirc CR drug interactions include:
 
  • Certain antibiotics or antifungals, such as:
 
    • Clarithromycin (Biaxin®)
    • Erythromycin (Ery-Tab®)
    • Isoniazid (Nydrazid®)
    • Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
    • Ketoconazole (Neoral®)
    • Miconazole
    • Telithromycin (Ketek®)
 
 
 
  • Rifamycin antibiotics, such as rifabutin (Mycobutin®), rifampin (Rifadin®), or rifapentine (Priftin®).
