Dynacirc CR and Breastfeeding
It is not known if Dynacirc CR® (isradipine CR) is passed through breast milk. Because of the potentially serious side effects that could occur in the nursing infant, the manufacturer recommends that women avoid breastfeeding while taking the drug. Therefore, if you are breastfeeding or thinking of breastfeeding, make sure to let your healthcare provider know.
No research has been conducted on whether Dynacirc CR passes through breast milk. Also, it is not known what the effects might be on a nursing child if the drug is passed through breast milk. If your healthcare provider decides that it is okay for you to breastfeed while taking Dynacirc CR, be sure to watch for any changes or side effects in your child.
You should talk with your healthcare provider about Dynacirc CR and breastfeeding.
