Who Should Not Take Doxazosin?

You should not take doxazosin if you are allergic to:
 
  • Doxazosin, Cardura, or any inactive component used to make doxazosin. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Any of the medications closely related to doxazosin, including alfuzosin (Uroxatral®), prazosin (Minipress®), and terazosin (Hytrin®).
 

Doxazosin Precautions and Warnings: A Summary
