Serious Side Effects to Report
Some side effects with
Diovan HCT should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
- Changes in vision or eye pain
- Unexplained skin rash
- Unexplained blisters or peeling of the skin
- Itching
- Unexplained swelling of the head or neck (including the face, lips, tongue, or throat)
- Wheezing
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing
- Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting spells
- A decrease in the amount of urine produced
- Dry mouth
- Increased thirst
- Weakness
- Tiredness
- Restlessness
- Seizures
- Confusion
- Muscle pain or cramps
- Nausea or vomiting
- Weak or irregular heartbeat.
Rare Problems Seen With Diovan HCT
Rare
Diovan HCT side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people taking the drug. Given how uncommon these problems are, it can be difficult to tell whether they are caused by the medication or something else.
