Diovan HCT Side Effects

Serious Side Effects to Report

Some side effects with Diovan HCT should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Changes in vision or eye pain
  • Unexplained skin rash
  • Unexplained blisters or peeling of the skin
  • Itching
  • Unexplained swelling of the head or neck (including the face, lips, tongue, or throat)
  • Wheezing
  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting spells
  • A decrease in the amount of urine produced
  • Dry mouth
  • Increased thirst
  • Weakness
  • Tiredness
  • Restlessness
  • Seizures
  • Confusion
  • Muscle pain or cramps
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Weak or irregular heartbeat.
     

Rare Problems Seen With Diovan HCT

Rare Diovan HCT side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people taking the drug. Given how uncommon these problems are, it can be difficult to tell whether they are caused by the medication or something else.
