Were you looking for information about
Cozaar? Cozzar is a common misspelling of Cozaar.

Cozaar® is a prescription drug that is used to treat high blood pressure and diabetic nephropathy. The drug comes in tablet form and is available in a number of strengths, including 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg. By lowering blood pressure, it can decrease the risks (such as a stroke) that are seen with long-term hypertension.

For people with diabetic nephropathy, the effects of Cozaar have been shown to slow down the progression of diabetic nephropathy, resulting in less kidney damage and a decreased chance for developing serious complications, such as the need for kidney dialysis. Potential side effects include dizziness, back pain, nasal congestion, and infection.
