Coreg Risks

Although many people do not experience any problems while taking
 Coreg® (carvedilol), this medication is not free of risks. Some of the most common side effects seen with Coreg include:
 
If any problems do occur, they tend to be mild and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. However, there are some potentially serious risks with Coreg that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience serious adverse reactions, such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, or sudden weight gain.
 
Other warnings and precautions with Coreg apply to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as people who have certain allergies, including to foods, dyes, or preservatives. Also, you may not be able to take this drug if you have certain medical conditions, such as kidney disease, diabetes, or asthma.
