Coreg Oral

Coreg® (
 carvedilol) is an oral medication used for the treatment of various heart and blood vessel conditions. Specifically, it can help treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure, as well as improve survival rates in people who have had a heart attack.
 
This prescription medication comes in the form of tablets and is typically taken twice a day with food. Coreg oral tablets are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Coreg 3.125 mg
  • Coreg 6.25 mg
  • Coreg 12.5 mg
  • Coreg 25 mg.
     
As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Coreg. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Common reactions include dizziness, fatigue, and diarrhea.
