Coreg for High Blood Pressure

If you have
 high blood pressure, Coreg® (carvedilol) may help relieve your symptoms. This prescription medication is approved for treating high blood pressure (hypertension), as well as various other heart and blood vessel conditions in adults.
 
Clinical studies have shown that this drug can significantly lower systolic and diastolic blood pressures. The higher the Coreg dosage, the greater the drop in blood pressure is expected to be. By lowering high blood pressure, Coreg can also decrease the risks that often occur with long-term hypertension. However, this medicine is not a cure for high blood pressure.
