Coreg and PregnancyStudies with pregnant animals have been conducted on Coreg, and pregnancy problems appeared to be a possible risk. As a result, Coreg is considered a pregnancy Category C medicine, which means it should only be given to a pregnant woman if the benefits to her outweigh the risks to the fetus. If a woman becomes pregnant while taking this drug, side effects may be temporary or permanent.
