Coreg 25 mg

Of the four strengths of
Coreg® (carvedilol) on the market, the 25-mg tablets are the strongest strength available. Your healthcare provider may prescribe Coreg 25 mg tablets to treat certain heart or blood vessel conditions, although a lower dosage is typically used in the beginning. However, your dosage will depend on several factors, such as your age, the condition being treated, and other medications you are taking.

You should take Coreg 25 mg tablets with a glass of water and with food. Make sure to take the drug at the same time each day to maintain an even level in your blood. You may notice an increase in lightheadedness, dizziness, or fainting when Coreg is first started or when the dosage is changed. This usually improves after a couple of hours. Make sure to avoid driving or other activities that require mental concentration during this time.
