Bystolic Strengths

Bystolic® (
nebivolol) is a beta blocker medicine commonly used to control high blood pressure. It comes in tablet form and is available by prescription only. There are currently three different strengths of Bystolic, including:

  • 2.5 mg tablets
  • 5 mg tablets
  • 10 mg tablets.
  •
In clinical studies, Bystolic has been shown to significantly lower both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The higher the Bystolic strength and dosage, the greater the drop in blood pressure tended to be. By lowering blood pressure, the drug is also thought to decrease the risks that occur with long-term high blood pressure (see Effects of High Blood Pressure).
