Bystolic Risks

There are certain risks associated with

Bystolic^® (nebivolol) to be aware of before starting the medication. As with any drug, side effects are possible with this beta blocker. Some of the most common side effects that have been reported with Bystolic include:

Headache -- in up to 9 percent of people
Fatigue -- up to 5 percent
Dizziness -- up to 4 percent
Diarrhea -- up to 3 percent.

Bystolic is known to worsen certain medical conditions. In order to help minimize this risk, talk to your healthcare provider before taking this medicine if you have:

Liver disease, such as liver failure, cirrhosis, or hepatitis
Kidney disease, such as kidney failure (renal failure)
Diabetes
Chest pain (angina)
Heart failure
Asthma
Hyperthyroidism.
