Bystolic Oral

Bystolic® (
nebivolol) is a medication used for controlling high blood pressure. It is a beta blocker that has been shown to decrease heart rate and significantly lower both diastolic and systolic blood pressure.

This medicine comes in the form of tablets that are taken orally once a day. Bystolic can be taken at any time of the day; however, it is recommended to take it at the same time each day to maintain even drug levels in your blood. You should never stop taking this medicine suddenly, as serious problems (including heart attacks) may result; your healthcare provider will need to wean you off Bystolic.
