Bystolic for Children

 Bystolic® (nebivolol) is a prescription drug licensed for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). As a beta blocker, this medication causes the reverse effect of stress hormones. This action helps to decrease the heart rate and can lower both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
 
This beta blocker medicine should only be used in adults. There are currently no approved Bystolic uses for children or teens. Talk with your child's healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using this drug in these age groups.
