Bystolic Dosage

General Information on Your Bystolic Dose

Some considerations for people taking Bystolic include the following:

  • Bystolic comes in tablet form. It is usually taken by mouth once a day.

  • You can take this medication with a meal or on an empty stomach. If Bystolic seems to bother your stomach, try taking it with food.

  • You can take this medication at any time of the day. However, it is best to take it at the same time each day.

  • For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. Bystolic will not work if you stop taking it.

  • In general, Bystolic should not be stopped suddenly, as serious problems (including heart attacks) may result.

  • If you are unsure about anything related to your dosage or Bystolic dosing in general, please talk with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
