Valturna Medication Information

Valturna^® (aliskiren and valsartan) is a medication approved for treating hypertension in adults. A combination drug, Valturna contains two medications that work in different ways to lower blood pressure: Tekturna^® (aliskiren) and Diovan^® (valsartan). The product is made by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation and is not available in generic form.

Some of the most common side effects seen with this medicine include diarrhea, fatigue, and high potassium levels in the blood. However, most people tolerate it well.
