Benicar 40 mg Tablets

Benicar^® (olmesartan medoxomil) is a medication often used for treating high blood pressure. It comes in tablet form and is available by prescription only. There are currently three different strengths available for Benicar: 40 mg tablets, 20 mg tablets, 5 mg tablets.

Although the recommended starting dosage for most people with high blood pressure is 20 mg once a day, some people may need a higher or lower amount. If your blood pressure is still not adequately controlled, your healthcare provider may recommend switching to 40 mg Benicar tablets.
