Benicar? Benecar is a common misspelling of Benicar.
Benicar® is often prescribed to adults with high blood pressure. The drug can decrease the risks that are seen with long-term high blood pressure (hypertension) by causing the blood vessels to relax, which allows more blood to flow from the heart to the rest of the body. Benicar should be taken at the same time each day to maintain an even level of the medicine in the blood, and a person should not stop or change his or her dose before talking with a healthcare provider.
