Important Information for Your Healthcare Provider

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking Atacand HCT if you have:
 
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
 
  • Are pregnant or trying to become pregnant (see Atacand HCT and Pregnancy)
  • Are on dialysis
  • Drink alcohol regularly
  • Are breastfeeding.
     
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you are currently taking, including prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
 
Do not take any potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium without first discussing it with your healthcare provider.

Overdose With Atacand HCT

People who take too much Atacand HCT may have overdose symptoms that can include extremely low blood pressure or increased heart rate.
 
If you happen to overdose on this drug, seek medical attention immediately.
