Side Effects of Atacand HCT

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with Atacand HCT. However, not everyone who takes Atacand HCT will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate Atacand HCT well. When Atacand HCT side effects do occur, they are often minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
 
The most common Atacand HCT side effects include:
 
  • An upper respiratory infection, such as the common cold or flu
  • Back pain
  • Dizziness
  • Low potassium levels in the blood.
