You should not take
Adalat CC if you are:
- Allergic to Adalat CC, nifedipine, or any of the inactive components used to make Adalat CC. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make Adalat CC.
- Taking rifampin, a medication which may make Adalat CC much less effective.
- In cardiogenic shock (a state in which the heart is unable to supply enough blood to the rest of the body).
